PLEASE READ BEFORE SHOPPING — IMPORTANT INFORMATION

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all store policies.
We maintain a digital record of the date and time of policy acceptance for all transactions. This record may be used in the event of disputes or chargebacks.

🚫 NO REFUNDS — STORE CREDIT ONLY

All eligible returns are issued as store credit only.
Refunds to the original payment method will only  be issued if we are unable to fulfill an item due to an inventory issue. No exceptions.

🚫 NO ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled.
If the order has not yet shipped, we may offer store credit only at our discretion.

🛍️ FINAL SALE & OUTLET REMINDER

The following items are final sale  and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstance:

  • Sale items
  • Items purchased during promotions (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, etc.)
  • Outlet items
  • Items discounted 20% or more
  • Personalized items
  • Socks
  • Jewelry
  • Swimwear
  • Special orders
  • Preorders
  • Gift cards
  • Holiday items

No exceptions.

ORDERS

Processing Times

  • Orders ship within 1–2 business days
  • Peak periods may extend processing to up to 5 business days
  • Processing times are estimates and not guaranteed

Order Cut-Off

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST process the next business day

Address Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address
  • We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses

GIFT CARDS

  • Valid for online use only
  • Not redeemable for cash
  • Not replaceable if lost or stolen
  • Expire 6 months from issuance

PREORDERS

  • Processing times vary (e.g., 3–4 weeks)
  • Cannot be canceled or modified
  • Ship together with full order unless split shipping is purchased

DISCOUNT CODES

  • Must be applied at checkout
  • Cannot be added after purchase
  • One code per order unless stated otherwise
  • Excludes gift cards, preorders, and select items
  • May require minimum spend or geographic limits
  • Non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel codes at any time

RETURNS & EXCHANGES (DISCOUNT CODE USE)

  • Discount codes are one-time use and will not be reissued
  • Returned items are refunded at the discounted price paid
  • Same-item exchanges (size/color) retain the original discount
  • Exchanges for different items are treated as a new purchase (no discount applied)
  • Partial returns may result in a proportional adjustment of the discount
  • Defective or incorrect items may qualify for replacement or a new code at our discretion

General

Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
We ship Monday–Friday only

Domestic USA & PR

Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location

We offer free shipping on orders over $175 via Ground Advantage (tracking included)
This option does not include insurance

For insured shipping, we recommend selecting USPS Priority or UPS at checkout

Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days
During peak periods, processing may take up to 5 business days
Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day

Liability

Once a package is handed to the carrier, El Rincón de María is no longer responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages
Customers must contact the carrier directly to file any claims

Incorrect / Undeliverable Packages

Orders returned due to incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery will be issued store credit minus original shipping and return costs

Important Notes

Shipping costs are non-refundable
If a return causes the order total to fall below the free shipping threshold, original shipping costs will be deducted from the store credit

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Conditions

  • Must be delivered within 15 days  of delivery date
  • Must be unused, unwashed, with tags
  • Poorly packaged returns may be refused or charged a $10 fee

Additional Terms

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • If a return drops an order below free shipping threshold, shipping costs will be deducted
  • We reserve the right to apply restocking fees where necessary

RETURN ABUSE / FRAUD

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns
  • Cancel orders
  • Limit or block accounts

If we suspect:

  • Excessive returns
  • Policy abuse
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Resale behavior

CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

By placing an order, you agree to all store policies.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for a transaction that follows our stated policies may result in:

  • Permanent account restriction
  • Refusal of future service

We reserve the right to provide order records, delivery confirmation, and timestamped policy acceptance records  to financial institutions to dispute chargebacks.

PRODUCT DISCLAIMERS

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing size charts before purchase
  • We are not responsible for fit issues beyond standard exchanges
  • Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting
