Shipping and Return Policy

 Order Processing Times:

We make every effort to fulfill our orders promptly and ship in stock items asap. Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled.  Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to process on average. Processing times may vary during peak seasons like Summer, Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as during our sale periods.

Cut off time: Orders placed after 12:00pm EST are treated as if they came in on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your order status. 

Shipping Holidays:

We do not ship on weekends or observed holidays.

Expedited Shipping: We know you sometimes need for us to rush your order. If you need an order to ship urgently or during a specific time frame shorter than our regular processing times, please contact us at:  or our phone number so we can better assist you. 

** This applies to all packages including Next Day or 2 Day Shipping. If you do not contact us, we will assume the same processing times as regular orders.

Discount Codes: Discount codes must be placed during the check out process. We will not be able to apply discount codes retroactively. No exceptions.

Shipping Costs

Domestic USA & PR

During the check out process, our store will automatically calculate and show you shipping rates and estimated arrival times based on your location. We use USPS, DHL, UPS and Fedex carriers and offer different shipping methods, from economy to expedited shipping.

For orders over $150 USD, we offer FREE SHIPPING via Ground Advantage Package with tracking. Please be advised these packages do not offer insurance and once dispatched and scanned will be held to the same rules that apply to other packages. 

International Orders

Our website calculates international shipping rates based on your order at checkout. Please contact us if you have any questions and we will gladly help you. Please be aware that applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. 

If your package is shipped and you refuse to pay customs & fees, your package will most likely end up as abandoned property. El Rincon De Maria will not be able to return the package to our office if this happens nor will we be able to offer any type of store credit. 

Shipping Claims & Liability

In an effort to keep shipping costs down for our customers, we offer Ground Advantage via USPS to continental USA and PR. Please note that this shipping option does not have any sort of insurance. If you want to make sure your package is insured, please pick one of the options that displays shipping insurance, for example- USPS Priority or UPS.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Packages

Once the item is dispatched and scanned by the carrier, we will not be held liable for lost, damaged or stolen packages. This applies for all packages, including those that are shipped for free. For any issues, please contact your local carrier for support.  

Damaged Packages

If you suspect your package was damaged during shipping or you received a damaged item, please make sure to contact our team within 24-48 hours of receiving your package. We will try our best to fix the issue! 

It is up to the discretion of El Rincon de Maria to determine on a case per case basis how we want to handle each case. In most cases we will offer you the option to repurchase items at a discounted rate so you can receive what you initially wanted as a courtesy.


Please understand that we are a small business!

We thrive on bringing you weekly new arrivals and limited inventory per style. If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, we will offer a full refund as a store credit.

Your store credit with come in the form of an electronic gift card that will be valid for 6 months of use from the date we issue it. 

Refunds, to the original form of payment, will only happen if there are any inventory issues with your order and we cannot fulfill it.There will be no other exceptions.


  • You can return eligible item(s) for store credit within 15 days from delivery date. Items need to be received within 15 days from delivery date or they will not be accepted as a return. This applies to our international clients as well.
  • Items need to be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with original tags attached.
  • Original shipping charges are non refundable.
  • FINAL SALE & OUTLET: Products marked as “sale”, products part of a specific sale or promotion (ex: Black Friday, CYBERMONDAY, Spooky Sales, Back to School), products within our outlet sections or with a markdown of 20% or more, personalized items, socks, jewelry, special orders or preorders and gift cards may not be returned or exchanged. 

Return Process:

1. You can request and manage returns from your customer account. Use to access self-serve returns. 

2. Please repackage the items you wish to return in a secure manner. If choosing to reuse the parcel we shipped your items in, please remove any original labels that do not pertain to the return you are about to fulfill.

3. You will receive an email once your return has been received and processed. Please allow up to 5 business days from the time we receive your return for store credit to be issued.

Please note that Shipping Label costs will be deducted from the store credit. You will also be required to cover shipping costs for the exchange items.

Gift Returns

To arrange a gift return, please email us at and we will further assist you. Gifts bought on sale will not be able to be exchanged. If it has been more than 15 days since the gift was fulfilled to the original buyer, the store can decide on a case by case basis if it makes any exceptions on exchanges but regular rules apply.

Gift Cards

We have two types of gift cards available. Electronic gift cards are sent directly to the email provided. Physical gift cards are shipped out to a physical address. This card is property of the issuer and cannot be used by someone else. Gift cards may be applied toward any purchase made at our website. This gift card is not exchangeable for cash or replaced if lost or stolen.

Store Credits

Store credits are valid for 6 months from the date it was issued. They cannot be transferred to someone else and will be issued to the original buyer. You will be awarded an electronic gift card with the credited amount. Once the gift card expires, you will not be able to use the credit anymore. 

Store Credits & Return costs on orders that qualified for Free Shipping

If you order some things to qualify for free shipping and then return your items or part of the items that helped you qualify for free shipping, we will deduct the amount paid for the original shipping from your store credit. 

Overusing the right to return

We reserve the right to refuse a return if we feel the customer is in any way abusing the right for exchanges and returns. 

Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and sent back to the customer, at customer's expense. For those items that are left unclaimed or client refuses to pay shipping, we will donate them to charity after a period of 2 months. No exceptions.

Local Pickup

Pickup will be available in Miami for certain special occasions and holidays. Please be aware that the 15 days for exchange start counting from the moment we inform you your order is ready for pickup. Items that aren't picked up after 30 days will be donated to charity. If you placed an order as a pickup and would rather have it shipped, please reach out to our team at so we can send you the shipping invoice.
