Shipping policy

Order Processing Times:

  • We strive to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days.
  • During peak seasons (e.g., Semi-Annual Sales, Holidays), processing may take 3-4 business days.
  • Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. No exceptions. 

Order Cut-Off Time:

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day.
  • Orders placed during business hours will ship the following business day. No exceptions.

Estimated Delivery Windows:

  • You will see an estimated delivery date at checkout based on your selected shipping method.
  • Ensure all order details are correct before confirming; we cannot modify orders once confirmed.

Discount Codes:

  • Application & Use: Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively. Only one discount code can be used per transaction unless explicitly stated otherwise. Discounts are not stackable, only the highest discount will be applied at checkout.
  • Restrictions & Limitations: Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit and may not apply to gift cards, preorders, or other excluded items. Codes may also have minimum purchase requirements or geographic restrictions.
  • Non-Transferrable:  Discount codes are non-transferable and valid only for the intended recipient.
  • Right to Amend or Cancel:  We reserve the right to revoke, amend, or cancel any discount code or promotion at any time without notice.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking:

Once dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to track your order.

Shipping Holidays:
We do not ship on weekends or observed holidays. Our 2026 observed holidays include:

  • January 1: New Year's Day
  • January 19: Martin Luther King
  • February 16: President's Day
  • April 3-4: Holy Week
  • May 25: Memorial Day
  • June 19: Juneteenth 
  • July 3: 4th of July
  • September 7: Labor Day
  • October 12: Columbus Day
  • November 11: Veteran's Day
  • November 26: Thanksgiving Day
  • December 24–25: Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day
  • December 31: New Year's Eve

Expedited Shipping:

  • If urgent delivery is needed, contact us at info@shopelrincondemaria.com or by phone before placing your order.
  • Expedited shipping applies to all orders, including Next Day and Two Day Expedited orders. If no special request is made, standard processing times apply.

Shipping Costs:

  • Domestic USA & PR:

    • Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location.
    • We offer free shipping on orders over $175 via Ground Advantage (tracking included). Note: This option does not include insurance.
    • For insured shipping, select USPS Priority or UPS.
  • International Orders:

    • International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
    • Customers are responsible for all applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees.
    • If you refuse to pay customs fees, the package may be abandoned, and we cannot return it or offer store credit.

Local Delivery (Miami Area):

  • We offer local delivery via Uber Package with the following conditions:
    • Orders placed with this option will ship the next business day.
    • Provide your phone number at checkout for coordination.
    • You must meet the driver at your driveway or provide lobby instructions.
    • Once handed to the Uber driver, El Rincón de María is no longer responsible for lost or stolen items.
    • If delivery fails, you will be charged both the delivery fees and an additional fee for re-delivery.

  • Delivery Fees:
    • Up to 3 miles: $15
    • Up to 5 miles: $20
    • Up to 7 miles: $25

  • Pickup Option (Miami Office): We are currently offering pickup as a beta option from our office located at:

    Pickup is available upon request and based on urgency. Please contact our team directly to see if this option is available for your order. If approved, our team will coordinate a pickup window with you, as hours vary weekly.

    🕒 Pickup Hours: Usually available on Monday-Wednesday-Thursday from 9-2pm but can vary per week — please contact us to confirm availability.

    Important Notes:

      • This is a pickup-only locationno in-store shopping is available.

      • Orders approved for pickup are subject to our standard 15-day exchange period, starting from the first business day after the order is ready for pickup.

      • We appreciate your flexibility and support as we test this service to better serve our community!

Shipping Claims & Liability:

  • We offer Ground Advantage via USPS for cost-effective shipping. This option does not include insurance. For insurance, select USPS Priority or UPS.

  • Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages:

    • We are not liable once a package is dispatched. For issues, please contact the carrier directly.
    • It is very rare for orders to get lost or stolen, but it does happen! We always strongly suggest choosing an insured shipping option for your order, even though it may be more expensive. Our store isn’t liable in these cases, and you will need to open a claim with the carrier.

  • Damaged Packages:

    • If your package or item is damaged, contact us within 24-48 hours of receipt. We will work to resolve the issue. In most cases, we may offer the option to repurchase items at a discounted rate.

  • Returned Packages Due to Insufficient or Incorrect Address:

    • If your order is returned to our office because of an insufficient or incorrect address, you will be responsible for the shipping costs when the order is re-shipped.
    • Standard return windows apply to these packages.
